Beloved son, brother and uncle, Treynor ‘Trey, TR, T-Dog’ Raymond Cosby, entered fully into the presence of his Lord and Savior on November 17, 2021. Born July 16, 1968, in Atlanta, GA, we’ve had 53 years of his love, laughter and zest for striving to be the best. Trey loved large - his family, friends, the beach, work - and especially the Florida State Seminoles and all sports teams from The A.T.L. His excitement in the Braves World Series win could be felt by all this fall!
Trey lived life in Atlanta, Panama City Beach and Dothan. He was an entrepreneur that moved around as he was lead by the Lord and his relationships with friends and family. If you were fortunate enough to be on Trey’s friend list, you felt his love with great energy and enthusiasm. And, to be real, everyone started at the top of his friend list. He had a special gift of wanting to love everyone he crossed paths with.
Trey was welcomed in his heavenly home by both his Dads - Harry L Broome Sr and Ray Cosby Jr - whom he cherished, his sister Mary Elizabeth Broome, his cousin John Byrd and many friends he thought of as brothers. He leaves his mother, Sandra ‘Sandy’ Whitfield Broome, sister Shawn, married to Paul Castino and brother Harry, married to Karen Broome.
The most treasured role Trey had in life was that of Uncle, and his nieces and nephews - Jake, Abby, Michael Castino; Payson, Evan, Anna Broome - will feel the hole his passing leaves.
All the dreams of life he had will carry on through this family, aunts, uncles and cousins he loved dearly, and the friends he most definitely had an impact on.
A celebration of Trey’s life will be forthcoming in early 2022. In the meantime, we invite you to watch an FSU football game (or your favorite team) and cheer loud and proud, in his honor. He would love that and we are sure would join you in a whoop whoop!
