Casimiro Landa Gomez, Sr., age 88, of Clovis, California entered into rest on Saturday, November 20, 2021. Casimiro was born March 4, 1933 in Nuevo Leon Nuevo, Nuevo León, Mexico to Severa Land Gomez and Juan Gomez.
Casimiro is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Gomez; his son Efren Gomez (Eva); his son Robert Gomez; his son Casimiro Gomez, Jr.; his daughter Esmeralda Gomez; his daughter Oralia Gomez (Roy); his son Robert Gomez (Jessica); his daughter Elena Martinez; his step-daughter Margaret Langford (Gene); his step-daughter Martha Perez; his step-son Manuel Perez; his step-son Mike Perez (Mary Helen); and his son John Jackson.
Casimiro was preceded in death by his son Jaime Gomez; his mother Severa Land Gomez and his father Juan Gomez.
Casimiro also leaves behind 32 grandchildren and 42 great-grandchildren to cherish his memory.
A Visitation for Casimiro will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Boice Funeral Home, 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
A Rosary Service will occur Wednesday, December 8, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., 308 Pollasky Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 929 Harvard Avenue, Clovis, California 93612.
A Committal Service will occur Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 12:30 p.m., at St. Peter's Cemetery, 264 North Blythe Avenue, Fresno, California 93706.
Serving as Pallbearers are Esaiah S. Gomez, Michelle Barajas, Jennifer Fleishman, Albert Joseph Cordova, Robert Gomez, Matthew J. Valenzuela, Stephen P. Perez and Joshua E. Perez.
