Ms. Lucy “Cindy” Elizabeth Crutchfield, age 90, of Roswell, Georgia passed away on Monday, November 22, 2021. Cindy was born on August 18, 1931 in Trenton, Kentucky, a daughter to the late Malvern Crutchfield and Mary Rutherford Crutchfield.
Cindy lived in Nashville for a few years then spent majority of her life in Atlanta. She worked as a secretary for North Springs United Methodist Church for over twenty years. Her faith was extremely important to her, Cindy read her Bible regularly, taught Sunday School, and volunteered for several church activities. She loved gardening, cooking, reading, and traveling. Cindy was also a member of the Daughter of The American Revolution. She was a wonderful mother, sister, and friend. Cindy will certainly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Along with her parents, Cindy is preceded in death by, Charles “Bubba” Crutchfield, Sydney “Teeny” Dudley, Isobelle “Lasses” Crutchfield, Malvern “Booga” Crutchfield, and Mary “Peg” Marino.
Cindy is survived by her two children and two beloved cats and her youngest brother- William M ‘Buff’ Gilmore and Mary Adams and Robert Cross ‘Bob’ Crutchfield; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends also survive.
A Memorial Service honoring Ms. Cindy Crutchfield will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at North Springs United Methodist Church.
