Jami Lou (Jacobson) Andrews, 53, of So. Dennis passed away on May 2, 2010. She was the beloved wife of Craig G. Andrews and mother of Sarah Hilts of Dennis and Dawn Frank and her husband Army Sergeant Aaron Frank of Colorado. She was the daughter of the late James Jacobson and Gladys Dekker Jacobson formally of Wareham.
Jami was a loving and caring wife, mother and doting Nana. She was born and raised in Wareham, MA and graduated from Wareham High School in 1975. As a young woman Jami enjoyed playing the flute and writing poetry and had a poem published by Readers’ Digest. Poetry was a passion that she had hoped to renew one day. Jami was a lover of the color green, all things old, calla lilies, dragon flies, lemon bread and bars, “Mustang Sally” and karaoke and was also an avid fan of the Patriots, the Red Sox and American Idol. Above all Jami loved spending time and playing with her grandchildren. She loved talking to people, whether they were friends or new acquaintances. She was always sure to bring a smile and laugh to family, friends and strangers alike with her whimsical way. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Often there were times where she put others before herself. As a teenager, after her father suffered a debilitating accident Jami took a Certified Nurse’s Assistant course in order to care for him at home. Jami will always be remembered for her generous heart and the love for her family.
In addition to her husband and daughters, Jami is survived by her sisters Randi Sisson and her husband Scott of Orleans, MA, Beth Cornell and her husband Donald of Kentucky, and Becky Goodwin and her husband Wayne of Florida.
