Born to Italian immigrants from Cuneo, Italy, June 20,1923 in Chowchilla, CA. Frank raised his family in San Jose after serving as a Sgt. in the U.S. Army during WWII.Servicing many old time San Jose markets, he owned and operated Day and Night Refrigeration Service, and later owned several small businesses before retiring to northern California. Eventually he returned to San Jose in 2005. Frankie loved his family, along with his passion for opera, boxing, fishing and the SF 49ers. His glass was always half full in life, for simple pleasures he enjoyed. We were blessed to have him for so many good years.
Preceded in death by parents Pietro and Anna Marie Aimonetti, sister, Mary Ravizza, brothers, Peter, Anthony, James, son, Thomas Edward Aimonetti and his beloved Ruth. Frank is survived by daughter, Suzanne (Ronald) Bondi, Dearest brother, John Aimonetti, Grandchildren, Gina (Donald) Ruiz, Mia (Azer) Micijevic, Joseph (Shelli) Bondi, Thomas (Ashley) Aimonetti and Michelle Amor. Blessed with 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, along with his numerous nieces and nephews. Sincere gratitude to HBPC staff of the Palo Alto VA, Dr, Chi and dedicated staff of Vasona Creek Health Care Center, along with RMC ICU Unit and Dr. Bui. Special thank to Nena Ziegler, home health aide and caregiver.
Funeral Mass, Monday May 10, 2010, 10:00 am at Santa Teresa Church, 794 Calero Ave., San Jose. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday May 9, at 5:00pm at Lima Family Santa Clara, 466 N. Winchester Blvd.
