James Russell McNalty, of Hermitage, TN, passed away at his home on June 2nd, 2010. He was born in Colorado Springs, CO, on April 12, 1958 to Russell and Sherry McNalty of McLeansboro, IL. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He graduated from Lipscomb University with a B.A. in Business in 1982. Jim is survived by his parents, his sisters Kathy Teffertiller (Alan), Christi Curfman (Gary) and Paula Gossage (Dean). He is also survived by an uncle, Vernon Hunter (Mary) of Morrilton, AR, aunts Edna Preston (Eugene) of Huntsville, Ontario, Canada and Ada Binkley of Thornbury, Ontario, Canada. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He loved hiking, biking, camping and working with children while driving the school bus, as well as working with the elderly at McKendree Village in Hermitage where he had served as coordinator of activities and transportation. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 12th, at 11:00 A.M. at Odd Fellows Cemetery in McLeansboro. Harre's Funeral Home is in charge of burial.
