Betty was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Larry Aillet; her granddaughter, Jennifer Aillet; and by her daughter-in-law, Kathy Aillet. She is survived by her five children: Ronald Aillet and his wife Eleanor, Richard Aillet, Michael Aillet, Rebecca Aillet Bratton, Donna Aillet Huff and her partner Paul Delacoe; as well as 14 grandchildren, who will serve as honorary pallbearers during the service; and 21 great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish their memories of her, and carry on the love and devotion she shared with her family.
Born on the 8th of September 1924, in Hollywood, California, and a long time resident of West University Place in Houston, Betty was a graduate of San Jacinto High School, after which she spent her life as a housewife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and volunteer. She lived her last few years at the Village of Tanglewood, and the family would like to extend their thanks to the staff there.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six until eight o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 25th of August, in the Parlor of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive, where the family invites you to join them as they celebrate her long, joy-filled life.
A funeral service is to be conducted at one o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 26th of August, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, where the family will visit with friends immediately following the service.
As it was her wish to be cremated, Betty will join her husband in Colorado when her ashes are spread in the same location as his.
