Dianne passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 1, after an extended illness. She is now in her heavenly home. Dianne was born to Harold and Emma Morgan in St. Louis, MO. When Dianne was eight, they moved to Seattle, WA. She grew up in Seattle. Dianne attended Queen Ann High School and Seattle Pacific University, where she studied music and was crowned Homecoming Queen in 1957. She met her husband, Dennis, at Greenwood Presbyterian Church during her college years. They were married at University Presbyterian Church in 1958. They moved to San Diego where Dennis served as a Major in the USMC. A few years later they moved to Port Townsend, WA and lived there for eight years. They moved to the Seattle area again in 1968. They later moved to Redding, CA for a short year and then to Modesto, CA in 1973, where they have been settled ever since. They have three daughters and seven grandchildren. God gave Dianne the wonderful gift of music as a talented vocalist and pianist. She used that gift for many years to serve Him at First Baptist Church in Bothell, WA and First Baptist Church in Modesto, CA. She is currently a member of Calvary Chapel in Modesto, CA. Dianne was a loving Daughter, Wife, Mother and Nana. She is preceded in death by her father Harold Morgan. She is survived by her mother Emma Morgan of Modesto, CA, husband Dennis Abrahamson, three daughters, Karen (Louie) Fredriksz of Ripon, CA, Laurie (Carl) Saxe of Sammamish, WA and Nancy (Kieran) Baker of Alexandria, VA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren. Heather, Joshua and Holly Fredriksz, Logan andSean Saxe, and Abigail and Zachary Baker. Dianne will be remembered and missed by her family and many friends. Thank you all for your prayers, friendship and visits to her during her illness.
