Mildred Carter, 91, died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at the Blue Valley Nursing Home, Blue Rapids.
A graveside service will be Thursday, Oct. 14 at Memorial Gardens, Colorado Springs, Colo.
She was born April 25, 1919, at Colorado Springs, Colo., the daughter of James and Beula Willis Wood.
She married Wendell Heberlein in 1937. He died in 1964.
She married Charles Carter in 1966. He died in 1988.
She was a housewife all her adult life.
Survivors include her two sons, James Heberlein, Oketo and Karl Heberlein, Florida; stepdaughter, Aquanita Petty, Texas; stepson, Colonel Carter, Las Vegas; nine grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by both of her husbands; her parents; three sisters, Louise Wood, Billi Gill, Margret LaRank
