Bobby was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where he served as an altar boy and participated in the Catholic Youth Organization. His elementary education was received at St. Joseph's Catholic School and he graduated from Pine Bluff High School before attending the Arkansas State University at Jonesboro.
He had a long and respected career in the auto industry, working in Arkansas, Tennessee and North Carolina. A moment of silence was held in his honor at the Little Rock Auto Auction on Wednesday.
His friends and family will be comforted to know that he and Charlotte had recently realized their dream of moving back to Tennessee from North Carolina to be near their loved ones. Their lovely new home was filled with love, laughter and the voices of their grandchildren, Cheyan and Blayn. Blayn, 2, called Bobby "Pa" for the first time last week to everyone's delight.
A private memorial was held at St. Francis Hospital by his family and cherished friends. The family requests that memorials be made in his honor to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
