Ronald R. Boutin, ”Ron” age 61, of Rehoboth, died Friday, December 31, 2010 at his residence after a long battle with C.O.P.D. He was the husband of Junett “June” (Montgomery) Boutin to whom he has been married for the past 38 years.
Born in Fall River, a son of the late Alcide R. and Mildred (Knight) Boutin, he had been a lifelong area resident.
A graduate of Joseph Case High School, class of 1968, he was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam War. He worked at New England Ropes in Fall River, Rudy’s market as a meat cutter, and owned and operated Boutin’s Market on Gardner’s Neck Rd. before retiring in 2004.
Mr. Boutin loved the outdoors, being in the water, and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter Karen Hartley of Rehoboth; one son James Boutin and his wife Stephanie of Aurora, CO; four grandchildren Stephanie and Casey Hartley, Raymond and Nicole Boutin; one brother John H. Boutin of Swansea and several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late James E. and William Boutin.
