Emily Josephine Alifi, Dec. 14, 1916 – Dec. 30, 2010, Born in Brooklyn, NY. Our Dear Mom really never died. She just slipped out of her earthly "container" and joined our dear Dad (Leo) where both of them will spend an eternity together in the presence of Father God. Emily was the finest seamstress. She worked from the time she was 15 until she retired at 75, sewing beautiful suits, dresses, and coats for many well known designers. She loved cooking for her family and friends and served many Italian meals around a table full of love and her wonderful meatballs.
Emily was a loving WIFE to Leo (who preceded her), MOTHER to 2 children, daughter Camille Herdoiza (son-in-luv Bob) residing in Cape Coral and son Len Alifi (daughter-in-luv Lisa) residing in Phoenix Az., GRANDMOTHER to 3 Granddaughters, Dawn Carvotta (married to Steven C.), Suzanne Dodd (married to Steven R.) & 2 Grandsons, Seth Alifi and Jonah Herdoiza and GREAT-Grandmother (Nana) to 7 Great-grandchildren! Emily was greatly loved and will leave a void in each heart of those who knew her. We will see you again Momma……because of the Cross!
In celebration of her life, a memorial service will be held at Cape Christian Fellowship, 2110 Chiquita Blvd Cape Coral FL 33991 on Saturday, Jan 22nd at 11 am. Finger food and refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall immediately following. All are welcome, as we pay tribute to our beloved Emily.
