Tahlequah, OK- Funeral services for Jesse David Ayala will be held on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 10:00 AM with Minister Danny Garner and Mr. Wayne Sturgeon officiating. Interment will follow at the Hulbert I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Hulbert, OK. Services are under the direction of Reed-Culver Funeral Home of Tahlequah.
Pallbearers for Jesse include Albert Kaiser, James Bowden, Jonathan Ramirez, Heath Gomez, Gabriel Ayala, Martin Ayala, Craig Spears and Ed Spears.
Honorary pallbearers for Jesse include the men of the Central Church of Christ and Mr. Jim Rogers, Bill Mocha, Dale Wilcox, Dower Combs, Henry Ramirez, Wally Monreal, Ed Gomez, Troy Soffera, and Alan Spears.
Jesse David Ayala was born on March 8, 1952 in Goree, TX the son of Jesse and Juanita (Ortega) Ayala. Jesse was a man of many diverse talents, who liked to stay busy. Before moving to Oklahoma, he owned and operated an automated mailing equipment company in Texas, and later co-owned E.J.’s Auto Techs in Tahlequah. He worked for Jimmy Houston’s Marine Group and managed the Rogers, AR location before going to Toyota of Muskogee, and finally Stuteville Ford in Tahlequah. On April 23, 1983, he married the love of his life, Patti Ann Spears in Tahlequah, OK. This union was blessed with twenty seven years of happiness. In May of 1996, Jesse received the gift of life, a liver transplant. Jesse treasured this gift and was on the list for another transplant at the time of his death. Jesse was a hard worker and had amazing work ethic. When he wasn’t working, Jesse enjoyed fishing, hunting, or spending time with his horses and chickens. He enjoyed watching football and was a loyal Dallas Cowboys fan,win or lose. He loved watching cartoons and the Western Channel. Jesse was a very kind and good man with a wonderful sense of humor. He dearly loved his family and the Lord. Jesse was a member of the Central Church of Christ on West Keetoowah Street in Tahlequah, OK. The Lord called Jesse to his final rest on February 6, 2011 in Oklahoma City with his family at his side. Jesse was fifty-eight years old. He will be greatly missed by the many lives he has touched.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his sister, Lupe Dena, his brother, Danny Thomas Ayala, nephews Frank Dena and Danny Anthony Gonzalez, and his father and mother-in-law, Blynn and Margie Spears.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Patti of the home, three adored daughters, Malinda Kaiser and husband Albert of Round Rock, TX, Monica Soffera and husband Troy of Ft. Hood, TX, and Melissa Robichaud of Austin, TX. Jesse leaves a brother and four sisters, Roy Ayala and wife Olivia of Cypress, TX, Rebecca Gonzalez and husband Wally Monreal of Dallas, TX, Gloria Bowden of Waxahachie, TX, Josephine Gomez and husband Edward of Vernon, TX, and Betty Ramirez and husband Henry of Munday, TX. He has two brother-in laws, Ed Spears and wife Jackie of Tahlequah, OK, and Alan Spears of St. Petersburg, FL. Jesse’s legacy lives on in his five beloved grandchildren, Abby Kaiser, Ayden Kaiser, Riley Soffera, Carson Soffera, and Logan Robichaud. Jesse also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
