Robert G Hall Sr passed away unexpectedly in his home surrounded by family on March 19, 2011. Born as the only child to the union of Bessie S Collins & George W Hall on August 6, 1925 in Lyon Mt, NY. He graduated from Washington HS in Washington, NJ in 1943. On January 31, 1948 he married his lifetime partner Doris H Pflugfelder with whom he had four children all of Colorado Springs- Sharon Forbeck (Dan); Robert G Hall Jr; Brenda Voorhees (Rodney); Pamela Hall (Scott Heimann); five grandchildren-Robert G Hall III; Tracy Poorman (Doug);Brent & Kyle Voorhees; Peyton Hall; one great grandson-Devin Poorman.
Bob served honorable in the US Army from June 1943 to January 1946 in the South West Pacific with the 11th Airborne Div., CO. I 3rd BN, 511th Parachute Regt. He reentered the Army on September 1950 with the 695th Field Artillery and served in Korea. He was promoted to Chief Warrant Officer on 1955. He retired from the US Army HQS Aradcom Ent AFB in 1977. His career continued at Litton Data Systems until 1997. Since retirement Bob and Doris were able to travel extensively with their children and grandchildren enjoying lots of sights and foods. His greatest legacy was his family who will dearly miss him. Bob "with his dog Ethan" has now embarked on his greatest trip of all.
