Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Emilio and Giuseppina (Falco) Ardito; wife of the late Albert “Jimmy” Aglione; mother of Gaetano “Buddy” Aglione and his wife Beverly, Albert Aglione, Sheila A. Capasso and her husband Donald, with whom she resided; grandmother of 7; great-grandmother of 6 and 1 great-great-grandson; sister of the late Anthony, William, Mario (her twin), Dante, and Gino Ardito, Sue Pieroni, Lee DiBattista and Dorothy Vani.
Edna and her husband were the owners of Michele Jewelry.
Visitation and funeral services will be held Monday, 9-10:30 a.m. in the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in The Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 1081 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
