the home of her daughter in Earlville.
A daughter of Charles and Luanne Carpenter Brazee, Rosemarie was born in Oxford in
April of 1955. She attended school in Greene and Norwich, residing most of life in the Norwich
and Plymouth areas. On May 12, 1972, in Norwich, Rosemarie married David Button. Over the
years, she worked for the Community Work Shop and in the recycling center at Victory Markets.
Her last employment was at the Gilmour Residential Health Care Facility. Rosemarie was a
quiet and soft-spoken lady who was never judgemental. Family oriented, she doted on her
grandchildren.
Rosemarie is survived by her husband, David Button of Plymouth; her children: Travis
Button and companion Jennifer Radan of Norwich, Sheri Miller and husband Edward of
Earlville, David Button Jr. of Plymouth, and Brandi Button and companion Mike Bishop of
Plymouth. Also surviving are Rosemarie’s sisters and brother: Ellen Carpenter and husband
Wilson of South Plymouth, Caroline Morse and husband Mike of Hamilton, Beverly Button and
husband James of Sherburne, Norma Brazee of South Otselic, Cindy Crosby and husband Doug
of Smyrna, Pamela Harvey of Mohawk, and Charles Brazee and wife Pam of West Winfield; 9
grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Rosemarie was predeceased by her
brother, George Brazee, and her grandson, Dalton Miller.
Funeral services for Rosemarie will be held at 11 a.m. on Tues., July 5, from the R. J. Fahy
Funeral Home. The Rev. Joseph Acanfora of Gilbertsville, Pastoral Care of Hospice and
Palliative Care of Chenango County, will officiate. Friends are invited to call at the R. J. Fahy
Funeral Home on Tues. from 9-11 a.m.
