Paul, son of Eugene and Marilyn Pallardy, was born at Lewis Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. He was raised in Oak Lawn and Clarendon Hills, Illinois. Paul was raised with five siblings: Gene, Rich, Marilyn, Madelyn and Marie.
As a young boy, Paul played baseball. He liked to pull pranks on people for a laugh. Paul got his first job at the young age of twelve years old and enjoyed buying all the kids in the neighborhood "Mr. Freezes", with his brother, Rico.
Paul graduated from Richards High School and Hinsdale Central in 1973. His favorite class in high school was lunch and PE. Paul earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business from DePaul University. His favorite course was law. Paul successfully held a full time job while attending college full time.
Paul could talk to anybody about anything. Paul was the kind of person who simply radiated good fellowship. Paul was very accepting of others. When Paul made friends, he made true and lasting friendships. While growing up, some of his best friends were his brothers. Later in life, he became friends with so many people, there's just too many to list. Paul acquired a variety of nicknames, such as Pawpetaman and Plucker. The most notable nickname was Zeebo.
Paul was a faithful and loving person. His kindness and consideration radiated an aura of warmth to those around him. On September 16, 1978 Paul married Deborah Elizabeth Weizeorick at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church of Lisle, Illinois. Paul was blessed with five children, Christy, Peg, Kate, Paul Jr. and Craig.
Paul worked at Harris Bank for thirty-seven years starting as a teller while still in college and working his way to Senior Vice-President. Paul was one of those people who took pride in constantly putting forth his best effort.
Paul was always enthusiastic and a great team player. In high school, Paul played baseball. In his college years, Paul continued to stay active by playing football. Recreational sports included bowling, golf, softball and basketball. Paul also liked being a sports fan and enjoyed following his favorite teams whenever he got the opportunity. Tops on his list were the Bears, followed by the Cubs and Bulls.
As a basketball coach for 18 years at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Paul coached all of his children.
Paul had high moral standards and traditional values. Religion and faith were important to him. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church for twenty years.
Paul's favorite vacation was spending time with his family at their cabin in Big Lake, Wisconsin.
Paul was a lover of animals and cherished his pets. One of his favorites was Rags, a Brittney Spaniel, who was a best friend for 15 years, and later was replaced by Rags, also a Brittney Spaniel, who is now 12 years old.
Paul is preceded in death by his father Eugene Pallardy. Surviving family members are : wife Deborah Weizeorick, mother Marilyn Groble, daughter Christy (Mark) Damon, daughter Peg (Jason) Simon, daughter Kate (Mike) Halovatch, son Paul Pallardy, son Craig Pallardy, grandkids Colin, Claire,Simon and Baby Buttons, father-in-law Jack (the late Clare) Weizeorick, brother Eugene (Patti) Pallardy, brother Rich (Dianne) Pallardy, sister Marilyn (Kevin) Murphy, sister Madelyn (Vince) Heaton, sister Marie (Mike) Gallagher, sister-in-law Jeannie (Gottfried) Lorenzen , brother-in-law John (Gayle) Weizeorick, brother-in-law Tom (Jeanne) Weizeorick, sister-in-law Teresa (Jay) Jenson, sister-in-law Sharon Honeysett, brother-in-law Larry (Laura) Weizeorick, brother-in-law Greg (Margaret) Weizeorick, brother-in-law Richard (Audra) Weizeorick, sister-in-law Catherine (Chris) Cremer, sister-in-law Joanne (Travis) Haldeman, brother-in-law Philip (Melanie) Weizeorick & many nieces and nephews.
Paul was a fantastic conversationalist who could engage just about anyone in a discussion. And whenever he said something, he meant it. Paul was a down to earth person, outgoing and gregarious. He was practical and sensible, but what friends and family will remember him for most is the fact that he was so understanding and kind. Everyone whose life he touched will miss Paul E. Pallardy.

There is an incredible loss of words when you lose a true hero. Today we must say goodbye toPaul Pallardy Sr. who only brought love and laughter in this world. He lived his life selflessy and joyfully. All his life he danced around his children, made everyone laugh (with some horribly awful puns) but most importantly, taught us how to love unconditionally and be able to sit back and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. He will be remembered as the absolute greatest husband, father, and grandfather.
