He was born in Greenfield, MA., October 25, 1979, the son of Franklin L. and Maria E. (Vettel) Sibley, and had resided in Athol MA., and Swanzey, prior to moving to Munsonville three years ago.
Ryan had been employed at the Timken Corporation for a number of years. He had most recently been a lead sensor manufacturing technician with this firm.
He was a great sports fan. He met his wife while playing softball. She threw the softball to him and he hit a line drive to right back at this woman (who later became his wife), but she still got him out at first base and now we all know the rest of that story. He was a lover of people and had many friends on and off of the playing field. He enjoyed his friends, but most importantly of all, he loved his entire family.
Survivors include: his wife Beth (Lachenal) Sibley and his soon to be born daughter Madison of Keene, his two brothers: Allen and his companion Corey of New Fairfield CT., and Glenn Sibley and his wife Amy of Keene, his parents of Keene, his maternal grandfather Karl Vittel of Germany, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours for Ryan will be held Friday evening from 6 to 8 at the Fletcher Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 33 Marlboro Street, Keene. Friends are invited.
A graveside service will be held at the family lot in the Monadnock View Cemetery, Saturday morning at 10.
It has been requested that gifts be made in memory of Ryan, to the Madison Sibley Scholarship Fund, c/o Savings Bank of Walpole, 84 Marlboro Street, Keene, NH. 03431.
