Steven John Cok, 92, of Celeryville died Friday, September 02, 2011,
at his home in Celeryville,OH
Steven lived in Celeryville,OH his whole life and spent many
winters in Florida. He married Kathleen June Shaarda Cok on October 5, 1943. They
were married 67 years.
Surviving are two children, Nancy Kay Honda of Willard and Randy Cok and wife Norma of Willard. Four grand children Kim Reiderman and husband Steve of Sandusky, Oh, Kelley Kirchhevel and husband Mike of Cleveland, Oh, Christian Honda and wife Valerie of Niceville,Fl and Dirk Honda of_Anaheim,CA.
Five great grand children Trevor, Morgan and Merin Reiderman and Gavin and Tyler Honda.
Brother: Calvin Wade Cok and sister: Adrianna Cok Danhoff, both of Celeryville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John S. Cok and Hendrika (Buurma) Cok and sister: Marie Ellen Cok Danhoff.
He belonged to the Willard Christian Reformed church in Celeryville and loved the Lord Jesus His savior.
Steven owned Holland Market and ran the meat department and later delivered produce. He enjoyed playing golf in Florida.
He is now in his heavenly home enjoying his Jesus and the saints who have gone before.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the Willard Christian Reformed Church at 4163 Broadway Road in Celeryville,OH. The funeral will be at 11:00a.m. Tuesday, September 6 at the church also. There will be no graveside services. If desired in lieu of flowers, please give to the Willard Christian Reformed Building Fund or Celeryville Christian School. The staff of the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service assisted the family with the arrangements.
