Lucy Angelone (nee Cardone), 89, of Roselle, N.J., formerly of Elizabeth, N.J., entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Sept. 11, 2011. The family will receive their relatives and friends at McCracken Funeral Home, 1500 Morris Ave., Union, N.J., on Thursday, Sept. 15, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Joseph the Carpenter Church, Roselle, N.J., on Friday, Sept. 16, at 11 a.m. A committal service will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Newark, N.J. Mrs. Angelone was born in Potenza, Italy, and came to the United States with her parents, Michael and Maria Cardone, when she was an infant. In her adult life, Lucy was employed with Royal Foods in Woodbridge, N.J., for over 22 before retiring. Among many of her interests were sewing and crocheting. She also had a passion for cooking for her family and friends. Lucy was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Angelone, and loving mother of Mary Ann Ujhely and her husband, Donald, Barbara Smith and her husband, John, and the late Domenick Angelone. She is also survived by her loving sister, Antoinette DiCosmo; her dear sister-in-law, Rose Cardone; her cherished grandchildren, Petra Price, Andrew Angelone, Heather Ujhely, Kristen Simone, Sean Smith and Angela Smith, and her adored great-granddaughter, Kyra Price.
