Richard “Rick” L. Beauregard, Jr. 54, a resident of Troy, New Hampshire, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, November 7, 2011, at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, following a sudden illness.
He was born September 23, 1957 in Keene, New Hampshire, the son of Richard L. Beauregard and Carol (Sweeney) Descoteaux. He was a life long resident of Cheshire County and was a 1975 graduate of Keene High School. On July 20, 1985 he married the love of his life, Norma Paige, and the two of them lived in Troy. For more than 30 years Rick worked at Timken in Keene, NH.
Rick was a very compassionate and caring person: His devotion and love for his family was evident in the efforts that he made to provide for them. He took great pride in his vegetable gardens and also in the preparation of foods which he loved to make. He loved spending time with his family: one of his greatest joys in life was being the host of family gatherings in his home, where he was the cook, preparing wonderful feasts where he was known for his famous Mac & Cheese and his delicious Christmas Morning Breakfasts. Rick was dearly loved by his family and friends and he will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his wife: Norma Beauregard of Troy, NH, two sons: Michael Richard and Brian J. Beauregard, a daughter: Paige C Beauregard, all of Troy, NH., a sister: Dream Tardiff and her husband Donald of Roxbury, NH, his step-mother: Gloria Beauregard, of Walpole, NH, his step-father: H.O. “Bill” Descoteaux of Keene, NH, a step-brother: Richard Bilodeau of Keene, NH, his mother-in-law: Norma Paige of Keene, NH, five sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law, an Aunt, Uncles, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard Church, on Main Street in Keene, NH on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 10am. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery on Main Street in Keene, NH. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday evening from 6 to 8pm at the Foley Funeral Home, 49 Court Street Keene, NH.
