David Lawrence "Larry" Anderson passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on December 10, 2011. Larry was born in Tempe, AZ July 28, 1949 to Malcolm and June Anderson.
His childhood was spent in Walla Walla, WA where he graduated from Walla Walla High School and Junior College. He attended the University of Washington Boiler Engineering School where he earned his Level 1 Boiler's License. Larry was a dedicated, hard working engineer for Providence Everett Medical Center for the past 22 years. He took pride in his work, willingly helped anyone and was always a team player. Larry had a passion for gardening and growing plants, he enjoyed traveling with his wife and was always ready for the next football or baseball game. Larry's contagious smile and friendly nature will always be remembered and cherished.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Corene; his daughter, Megan Fletcher; his mother, June Anderson; sisters, Mary Saranto (Dave), Dorothy Mehrer (Dick) and Linda Bogart; brother, Leslie Anderson; numerous nieces; and nephews; and many other beloved family members and friends, including his ever loving cats, Currie and Abbie.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Anderson.
Larry was comforted by his commitment to the Lord with recent help and guidance from Pastor Tim of the Seventh Day Adventists Church in Everett, WA.
In honor of Larry's wishes, no service will be held.
A family gathering to celebrate Larry's life will be held at a later date.
