Helen Andriole, nee Yanni, 89, died Feb 19, 2012. Recently of Paoli and formerly a long time Wayne resident. Beloved wife of Anthony Andriole. Predeceased by husband Tony, sisters Santa Olivieri, Mamie and Pauline Yanni, Josephine D’Ambrosio, and Anna Nudy, brother Phil Yanni, and parents Joseph Yanni and Palmina De Lucia. She is survived by two sisters, Dora Rubbo and Agnes Curtis, 20 nieces and nephews, 54 great, 57 great, great, and 4 great, great, great nieces and nephews, Carol Hoover, and many other special friends.
Nicknamed “Speed” by her late husband Tony, she was known for her tremendous energy and work ethic, which she used willingly to help others, especially those listed above. She also enjoyed bowling, cooking, baking, entertaining, and crocheting. She worked for Continental Can Corporation for most of her adult life. Helen was a lifelong member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church and prayed the rosary daily.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, Feb. 24, at 10:30 am from Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Strafford. Int. Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia. Viewing Friday morning 9:00-10:20 in the Sacred Heart Chapel in OLA Church. Arr by the Alleva Funeral Home, Inc. Paoli, PA.
