He was born January 5, 1986 in Waynesburg, a son of John C. Barnhart and Connie Sue Good Schrader.
Mr. Barnhart was a third generation river man and was a lead deckhand on the Motor Vessel, Champion Coal, with Consolidation Coal Company.
He was a member of the Crucible Slavonic Club and enjoyed shooting pool, the outdoors, riding four wheelers and shooting guns.
Surviving is a daughter, Rosalyn Barnhart of Capon Bridge, WV; his parents, John C. Barnhart and his wife Christine of Cape Coral, FL, and Connie Sue Good Schrader and her husband Gregory of Capon Bridge, WV; maternal grandparents, Sandra Cool of Carmichaels and Ralph Good of Prosperity; paternal grandparents, Wiley Clayton and Mary Ann Weinschenker Barnhart of Dry Tavern; paternal great grandmother, Mary Weinschenker of Rices Landing; six siblings, Timothy Good of Prosperity, Jeffrey Snyder of Jefferson, Brandon Hanko of Cape Coral, FL, Brooke Barnhart of Cape Coral, FL, Gregory Schrader Jr. of Capon Bridge, WV and Nicholas Barnhart of Cape Coral, FL; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Deceased are maternal great grandparents, Jay and Red Good; paternal great grandfather, Harold “Dutch” Weinschenker and paternal great grandparents, Robert and Nellie Beaver.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 25, 2012 with the Rev. John R. Dorean officiating. Interment will follow in Oakmont Cemetery, Waynesburg.
