deMolitor, David Penny-95, of Dartmouth, passed away on March 10th, 2012 at the Veteran’s Memorial Building. Born in Jordan Falls, NS he was the son of the late Fred and Maud (Purney) deMolitor. David was a veteran of the Second World War serving with the Military Police. He was a carpenter and worked for Harbour Construction for over 20 years, as well as 20 years with Woodlawn Construction (Amber Construction). He was an avid outdoors man, enjoying hunting, fishing, camping and loved to travel. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Viola (Shea); daughter Janet (David) Smith, Lake Echo; son Bruce (Mary) and Billy, of Dartmouth; brother, John, East Jordan; grandchildren, Sandra Thornhill, Porter’s Lake, Danny Smith, Bible Hill, Damian Taylor-deMolitor, Jordan Taylor; five great grandchildren, Justin, Benjamin and Madison Thornhill, Riley and Carter Smith. He was predeceased by his siblings, George, Cecil, Billy, Ned, Dot, Evelyn, Mary, Gordon and Sherman. A private graveside service will be held in Lake John Cemetery, Jordan Falls.
