Larry was born on May 26, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Judith Cookson and Lorenz Heinrich II. He retired from the USAF after serving 22 years. He went to several overseas tours including Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. While stationed here at Goodfellow AFB, he met the love of his life, Elsa Sarabia. They were married on February, 8, 2001.
Larry loved to go camping, fishing, and boating with his family. A couple of years ago he went ice fishing in Wisconsin with his cousins. One of his last wishes was to go fishing, and his close friend, Chapo Valdez, made that wish come true. Another favorite hobby was building model railroads for his son and for himself. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus from St Joseph Catholic Church.
Larry was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Cookson and by his father, Lorenz Heinrich II. He is survived by his wife; son Adam (AJ) Heinrich; step children, Sierra Perez of San Angelo, Jamie Perez and Daniel Perez of San Antonio, and Johnny Sarabia of Germany; step grandchildren Izaiah Allen and Elijah Allen of San Angelo and Vicky Sarabia and Sarah Sarabia of Huntingdon, England.
