Carleen was born in Hanford CA, to Ira and Rose Vosburgh. She graduated from Hanford High School in 1948. After high school she taught dance in Hanford, then moved to San Francisco after a short modeling career she returned to Hanford and attended COS. While at COS she danced in the Musical “Desert Song” in 1950. During the production of the “Desert Song” she met Norman Spurrier. They were married the following year in Hanford.
Carleen was a dedicated mother who lived her life devoted to her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sharon Pettyjohn Spurrier, and brother Gerald Vosburgh.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine and husband Gary Froberg of Rochester WA, Lisa and husband Peter Dudek of Visalia, and son David and wife Connie Spurrier, of Edmonds WA., along with 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
