Lynn graduated from Central High School in Syracuse. After raising her children, She spent over twenty years as a teaching assistant for children with learning disabilities, where she was a wonderful mentor, who loved and cared for each of her students. Lynn and her husband Joe were avid Corvette Enthusiasts, traveling around the country with the Club, meeting many wonderful friends. She was a fanatical Syracuse University Basketball fan, and had the best memory and attention to every detail. Above all she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband of 43 years, Joseph Tricome; dear children, son, Keith Tricome and his wife Julie, of Chapel Hill, NC and daughter, Carey Lane and her husband Matthew, of Greenville, SC; and her precious grandchildren, Madeline and Jacob Lane. She will also be missed by her sister, Sharon Stefanski and her husband Al, and daughter Kimberly of Jacksonville, FL. as well as Tracy Wicks of Syracuse, New York. Lynn was predeceased by her parents, and her brother, James Stamples.
The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday April 18, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh NC. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday April 19, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 11401 Leesville Rd. Raleigh NC. Inurnment will take place in the columbarium at St. Francis of Assisi.
