Born in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Giuseppe and Carmela (Balzano) Pinto. Lucy had worked for over 29 years for Smiths of Bristol and later was a cook’s helper at the RI Veterans Home before retiring in 1986.
She will be remembered as a fun-loving, tender and caring person with a love of music and the Boston Red Sox.
She leaves two daughters Lucille A. Amaral of Bristol, Paula A. McCormick and her husband Brian of Cranston, a son Kenneth Edward Amaral of Bristol, a sister Mary Stewart also of Bristol, and four grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Thursday July 19th at the Wilbur-Romano Funeral Home, 615 Main Street, Warren from 9-10:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Bristol. Donations may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd. E. Providence, RI 02914 in Lucy’s memory.
