Samuel (Sam) Wynn Wiggins, 20, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 23, 2012 from injuries sustained in a car accident. Sam, a 2010 graduate of Roswell High School who attended Georgia Southern University, was loved by all who knew him. Sam was full of laughter, had a keen sense of humor and loved animals. His quiet demeanor and his kind and caring spirit toward others belied one so young. He was recently employed at Designer Carpets of Atlanta and Studio Movie Grill in Roswell. His interests included music and videography, where he produced several short films. He also acted as an extra in “Teen Wolf” and “Parental Guidance,” out this fall. He had a passion for song writing and was self taught on the keyboard. He is survived by his devoted parents Laura (Patterson) and Derek Wiggins, loving brother, Miles Wiggins, all of Roswell; grandmother, Vivian Wiggins of Nellys Ford, Virginia , grandparents Maggie and David Patterson of Dunwoody; aunt, Kathlee Patterson Kohl of Atlanta; uncles, Glen Patterson and wife Hope of Dunwoody, Darin Wiggins of Hampton, NY; cousins Jessica Patterson of Snellville; Amelia and Ian Kohl of Atlanta, Nicholas Cull of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Anna and Michael Harbin of Dunwoody. Memorial services will be held Saturday afternoon, July 28th, at two o’clock at Patterson’s Arlington Chapel with Reverend Dr. Gil Watson officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in Sam’s memory to Second Chance Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 1515, Roswell, Georgia 30077. The family will receive guests on Friday, July 27th, from six until eight o’clock at Patterson's Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Road, Sandy Springs.
