Dorothy Mae Arriens, 87, of Bryan, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Visitation will be Friday, August 10, 2012 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10 A.M. Saturday August 11, 2012 at the funeral home with Reverend David Porterfield and Reverend Rick Sitton officiating. Interment will be at Rest-Ever Memorial Park Cemetery in Bryan.
Dorothy was born to Mary Wunderlick and Adolph G. Krocker on June 10, 1925 in Waco, Texas. She graduated from Waco High School in 1942 and moved to Bryan in 1948. Not only was she a homemaker, she and her husband Frank were the co-owners and operators of Frank’s Electric Motor Service in Bryan. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Couples Sunday School Class in Bryan for 45 years. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary of VFW Brazos County Post 4692. She loved her family and especially seeing her great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Frank J. Arriens, Sr. in 1995; one brother, Robert Krocker; three sisters, Pauline Stevens, Helen Mertz, and Gertrude Dildy; and one grand- son, Joe Frank Coburn. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward L. and Frances Arriens of Bryan and Frank J. Arriens, Jr. and wife Sherry of Houston; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Robert W. Coburn of Bryan; Sister, Mary Jo Matthys of Waco; eight grandchildren, Dana Wood and husband Tom, Cristina Forciea and husband Dylan, Cindy Crisp and husband Mark, Crystal Walraven and husband Wes, Jason Arriens, Nathan Arriens, Samantha Arreins, and Elizabeth Arriens; and numerous nieces and
nephews. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 506 East 28 th Street, Bryan, Texas 77803.
