Born in Spokane on March 27, 1992 to Dan Morse and Kimberly Morse-Julian; he moved to Colfax with his mother and brother, Josh Morse, where Tyler attended and graduated Colfax High School in 2010 with Academic Honors and numerous Sports Awards. He is survived by Kimberly and Rod Julian (Colfax/Soap Lake), Josh Morse (Texas), Tanner Julian (Soap Lake), and Dan Morse (Spokane); along with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tyler was a very well-rounded young man, excelling not only in multiple sports but also in academics. He enjoyed nature and all the activities of the outdoors while maintaining a love for technology. As a student at Eastern Washington University, majoring in Computer Science, he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Large B Cell Lymphoma. Tyler always took challenges head-on and continued with his studies while receiving treatment; he made the Dean’s List every quarter during his enrollment.
His infectious smile impacted everyone he was around; laughter was in his soul. His courageous nature and determination was seen in his Battle. He was a true “Trooper” with inner strength that rocked most to the core.
Memorial donations may be made in Tyler Morse’s name to B+ Foundation at www.bepositive.org.
The Morse-Julian family would like to express their gratitude to those who supported him during his SeattleBattle and to those who attended Tyler’s Celebration of Life Memorial Service on September 11, 2012 at Valley Real Life, Spokane.
