Funeral services for Pauline Stricklin Crocker Shannon, 96, of Hartselle will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at Moss-Service Funeral Home Chapel, the Revs. Tommy Graves and David Speegle officiating, with interment in Addington Chapel Cemetery.
Moss-Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Shannon passed away Wednesday, Sept. 12, at her residence. She was born Sept. 24, 1915, in Cold Springs to William and Maudie Mae Hurst Stricklin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, William Crocker and David Shannon; and six brothers, Eldredge, Ervil, Emil, Cranford, Elvin and Willard Stricklin.
Survivors include two daughters, Doris (Clayton) Scott of Hanceville and Shirley Myers of Cullman; two sons, Robert (Joyce) Crocker of Gary, Ind., and Wayne Crocker of Hartselle; two sisters, Irene Tidwell of Gardendale and Nelia Mae (Leon) Edwards of Gardendale; a brother, Everett Stricklin of Hammond, Ind.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
