Christopher Proctor Shull passed away Saturday 22, 2012. He was born October 28, 1954 to Harold B. and Joann Proctor Shull of Midland. He attended Midland High School, Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas.
Chris “Topher” Shull, along with his mother and sisters, was owner of Kentucky Street Warehouse, New York Street Warehouse and the Proctor Family Ranch.
Since his early youth, Chris enjoyed the fun times he spent with family and friends at Inks Lake, fishing on the Rio Grande, and generally anywhere there was laughter and amiable chatter. March Madness was his favorite time of year, rooting his Longhorns on. He looked forward to reading the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and especially the Dallas Morning News. Chris also found peace and joy in reading the Bible and quoting scripture.
German Shepherd dogs were special to Chris. He either found them or they found him, with both finding rewarding companionship.
Survivors include his wife Kathy; beloved step-daughter Sidney; Mother, Joann; two sisters, Cecily Shull and Cheryl Cotner; two nieces, Adrienne and Aubrey Ticer; and Uncle Richard Shull. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Leonard and Evelyn Proctor: Father Harold Shull; Sister Candy Shull; and his nephew, Eddie Cotner.
A memorial service will be held at 230 Clear Creek Rd, Inks Lake, Texas, on October 28, 2012 at Noon. All are welcome.
Much appreciation is given to faithful employee, William Zumwalt.
A special thanks to Hospice of Midland for their compassionate help during the last five years. The family requests memorials be directed to Hospice of Midland, P.O. Box 2621, Midland, Texas 79702-2621 or SPCA Midland, 2701 S. County Rd. 1206, Midland, Texas 79706.
