Wade graduated in 1980, from Edgewood High School in Ashtabula, Ohio. He received his Associates Degree from Triangle Tech, and a second degree in HVAC from the University of Georgia. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He was “a northerner with a southern soul” who had a love of BBQ, sausage gravy, the “Crow’s Nest” and college football, especially Penn State University. He was a passionate person, especially in respect to music, trying to attend as many concerts as possible, including 21 in the last year. His long career in the HVAC began with the encouragement and direction of his step-father and working in his business. Wade enjoyed working for Johnson Controls, York International, Trane and most recently, McQuay.
Wade was very generous and service oriented, he exemplified the motto –“Love what you do and do what you love”! He loved to serve others and was always that person behind the scenes who did not seek the limelight. Above all he was a passionate family man. He was the most awesome husband, father, brother and friend and was adored by so many people.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Roxanna Gramley, his son and “buddy”, Tyler Gramley, both of Raleigh.
