He moved to Portland, OR in 1944 and graduated from Roosevelt High School and joined the National Guard.. He then was diagnosed with tuberculosis and spent a year and a half in the hospital.
After a partial recovery, The State of Oregon sent him to a trade school where he became a radio and television technician. He then went to work for a company to install and repair televisions for most of the hospitals in Western Oregon. He worked there until the company had to close as all the hospitals took over that function on their own.
He was never married and is survived by his sister, Betty Lou Robb of Clackamas, OR and nieces and nephews Barbara and Carolyn Adams of Johnson City, OR, David Adams, of El Paso, Texas, Annette Stiller of College Place, WA, Richard Adams of Auburn, WA., Terry Robb of Mountlake Terrace, WA, Deanna Costello of SeaTac, WA and Leanna Harris of Burien, WA.
He will be buried at Skyline Memorial Gardens along with his two brothers, his mother and
Sister-in-law.
