Mr. Fulbright was born in Catawba County to the late George Fulbright and Pearl Keever Fulbright. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Auton Fulbright and four brothers, Thomas, Buddy, Leonard and Bob Lee Fulbright.
He was the owner of Fulbright Garage and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son, Jeff Fulbright and wife Pat of Vale; his brothers, Earl Fulbright and wife Betty of Vale, Lawrence Fulbright and wife Shirley of Valdese and Gary Fulbright and wife Jane of Vale; his sisters, Maude Echerd and husband Basiland Valerie Hughes both of Taylorsville; a granddaughter Kim Hood and husband Scotty and a great grandson Hunter Hood.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 1:00 in Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend T. J. Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.
