Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel, with Rev. Rodney Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery.
Born July 25, 1921, in Orange County, to the late William R. and Maggie Pridgen Robertson, Myrtle was a longtime, loved, and honored member of Rocky Knoll Baptist Church. She went to Glen Hope School in Burlington where she was raised until she married and moved to Greensboro. She was a devoted wife and dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a great great-grandmother. Myrtle was a fantastic cook and a successful gardener. She enjoyed canning, loved flowers, and traveling all over North Carolina. Myrtle was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Conrad Kepley; sisters, Lillian R. Keck, Naomi R. Oxford, Lois Jean Lakey, and Ruth Duncan; brothers, Martin Robertson and Tommy Robertson.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Srether Kepley Cox; twin sons, Gary L. Kepley and wife Carolyn and Larry L. Kepley and wife Sherry; sister, Joline R. Allison; granddaughters, Janice Cox, Vivian Cox, Cheryl Cox Surratt and husband Eddie; grandson, Billy Cox; great-granddaughter, Amy Cox; and great great-grandchildren, Constance and Duran.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful and caring staff of Beacon Place. Without them, as a family, they would have been lost.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 pm Wednesday, two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
