He was born in Keene, on November 28, 1941, the son of R. Louise (Stone) and Everett H Capron, Sr. He attended Surry schools and was a 1960 graduate of Keene High School.
Following school he began working at Central Screw Corp, in Keene where he worked until he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After his honorary discharge, he returned to work at Central Screw until the plant closed; he then worked for Central Fasteners. He also worked for Alan Sibley Construction. At the time of his retirement he had been working for the MPB Corp, in their maintenance dept.
On April 21, 1965 he married Susan C. Malcolm in a service in Beaufort, S. Carolina. They recently celebrated their 47th anniversary.
Mr. Capron was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Keene Lodge # 478. He really enjoyed being a handyman. He could frequently be found either working in the yard of the house he built for his family, creating toys for his children and grandchildren, making book cases, working on his yard equipment or figuring out how to build the next bear proof bird feeder. He also enjoyed watching NASCAR.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years: Susan C. Capron of Surry; his daughter: Kim Secore and her husband Dan of Gilsum; his son: Michael Capron and his wife Rye of Keene; five grandchildren: Lacie Secore and Cory Secore of Gilsum and Brandon Capron, Chase Capron and Kayla Smith of Keene as well as a sister: Dorothy A Hackett and her husband Lawrence of Saco, Maine. He was preceded in death by his sister Carole Reney of Surry.
There will be no public calling hours. Services for Mr. Capron will also be held privately. Burial will take place in the family lot in the Village Cemetery in Surry.
