Gary Edmund Guazzo, 72, passed away Wednesday, November 21 at St. Joseph Manor in Bryan, Texas with his family by his side.
Private family services were held in College Station, Texas.
Gary was born April 16, 1940 in Clifton, New Jersey. He volunteered in the Peace Corp’s traveling the world from 1962-64. Gary received his bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering from New York University in 1961. In 1970 he received his master’s degree in Civil Engineering from New Mexico State. Gary was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineering and served as secretary-treasurer of the Panama Section, he was also a member of American Mensa Group 333. He loved to travel the world and listen to classical music.
Gary is preceded in death by his father, Edmund Guazzo, mother, Laura Stefani, and his stepfather, Eli Stefani.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Valerie Guazzo; daughters and son-in-law, Adriana and Scott Zwick, and Gabriela Guazzo; granddaughter, Bianca Zwick; and numerous cousins and their families in New Jersey and Florida.
