Barbara Sue “Bobbie” Bragg, age 55, passed away early Sunday at Brown’s Nursing Home under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County where she lived at home with her family for most of her life. Barbara attended High Hope Center where she enjoyed the curriculum and friendships she made. She enjoyed spending time outdoors with her father hunting and fishing. Bobbie loved riding her bicycle, watching Nascar races, and had a strong Christian faith. Bobbie enjoyed the company of the Stilson Elementary School students for many years. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and in more recent years the devoted staff and residents of Browns Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her father, Reginald M. Bragg, Jr.
Survivors include her mother, Alma C. Bragg of Stilson; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Christine B. Smith of Stilson, Mary B. (Ben G.) Buie of Brooklet, and Regina B. (Alan W.) Blair of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; six nieces and nephews; four great nieces; aunts, uncles, and many cousins.
Barbara touched the lives of many people.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4:30 until 7:00 P.M. at Hodges-Moore Funeral Home.
Graveside services and burial will be held Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at Old Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Reland Morgan officiating.
