Marian Louise Anderson, 83, passed from mortal life on December 3, 2012 at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio five months following heart bypass surgery there. Marian was born September 4, 1929, at Lansing, Michigan, the first child of Elouise and Walter Dawson, and lived her childhood at Chippewa Lake, Michigan with brothers, John, George, Ronald, and Gary, and her sister Sandra (Vanalstine), Sandra and Ronald surviving. Marian was married to her beloved husband Orville E. Anderson of Harrisville, Michigan on November 25, 1948, past deceased. Marian and Orville were blessed with 40 years of marriage and had three children, Carl Lee, Carla Joan, and Paul Bryan, all surviving. Marian was an accomplished artist who loved painting and many forms of art. She was always active in her church and community affairs lifelong, with many friends and cherished memories of 45 years living in Grand Blanc.
Marian is also survived by her granddaughters Paulina Lynn Anderson Schweizer, Leila Michelle Anderson, grandson Timothy Alan Bradshaw and wife Nikki Bradshaw, and great-grandchildren Brady age 10, Ava age 8, Chloe age 6, and Dylan Bradshaw, age 15 months.
The funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock PM Saturday December 8, 2012 at Hill Funeral Home in Grand Blanc, Pastor James Conner of Place of Grace Church officiating. Family will host visitation for friends between 11 o'clock AM and 2 o'clock PM. Promptly following the funeral service family and friends will attend her burial at the Evergreen Cemetery located at Hill and Center Road in Grand Blanc Township. Mother, grandmother, and sister, Marian we love you and will miss you. You have been a blessing to all who knew and loved you.
