Robert Michael Kuentz passed away at Memorial Hermann Hospital Monday, December 3, 2012 surrounded by his family and friends. Robert died due to a gunshot wound to the back of the neck that happened at work on Friday morning, November 30th, that left him paralyzed. As tragic as it was, his family and hundreds of his friends got the opportunity to tell him how much they loved him.
Robert was born in Houston, Texas on July 14, 1982 and grew up in Willis, Texas. He was employed at Mac Haik Chevrolet as pre-owned director. He is preceded in death by his brother Eric Michael Kuentz; uncle Mike Gault; grandmother Penny Watson; and great grandparents Henry M. Sr. and Frieda Kuentz. Robert leaves behind his loving wife Heather Tenini Kuentz; 15 month old son Brady Michael Kuentz; parents Larry and Sandy Kuentz; brother Jason Felps; grandparents Bill and Alean Gault, Henry M. Jr. and Sue Kuentz; nephew Jaxon Felps; aunt and uncle Charles and Gaye Lynn Bailey; cousins Elliott and Amanda Gault and Michael Treadway; father and mother-in-law John and Holly Tenini; sisters-in-law Ashley Tenini and Trisha McHard; nephew and niece Ryan and Alyassa McHard.
The family would like to thank Veronica (Roni) Mohammed, nurse from Memorial Herman ICU, for all of her compassionate care. Also a special thank you goes out to Mitzi Rader, Kim Nash, Kari Covington, Judy Burgay, Tracy Cheney, Joe Levine, Nick Cusato and all the other family members and friends who helped us through this tragedy. Robert loved the joy that his wife and son gave him. He loved life, from fishing and hunting to all sports including the Houston Texans, and most of all, his family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. until 8:30 P.M., Thursday, December 6, 2012 in the Magnolia Room at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Funeral Services are set for 11:00 A.M., Friday, December 7, 2012 at WoodsEdge Community Church, 25333 Gosling Road, Spring, Texas 77389 with Pastor Worth Whitley officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Felps, Elliott Gault, Ryan Davis, Brandon Broussard, Leroy Seals, Chad Vengrouskie, Tracy Cheney, John Smith, Nick Cusato and Jason Williams.
