Charles Fredrick Brenner, 80, passed away November 29, 2012 at Palo Verde Valley Hospital in Blythe, California. He was born December 7, 1931 in Stilwell, Kansas to Fred and Marguerite (Roman) Brenner. He attended school in Stilwell and graduated high school from Santa Ana, California. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, serving as chief petty officer aboard the USS Boxer.
He married Virginia Lou Johnson, in 1958 in Kansas City, Missouri, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughters Cynthia Brenner of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Cathleen Brenner of Kansas City, Missouri; sister Jean Groen of Apache Junction, Arizona; two nephews, two nieces and many loving friends and relatives throughout the United States.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 11th at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home in Olathe, KS. Burial with Military Honors in Aubry Cemetery, Stilwell, Kansas. Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning prior to the service at the funeral home.
