Bryant N. Zingerman of Monroe, NY entered into rest on December 11, 2012 at home. He was 80. Bryant was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 24, 1932 to Bryant N. Zingerman, Sr. and Marie (Arrick) Zingerman. He was the loving husband Geraldine P. (Hassett) Zingerman. Bryant was a Retired Engineer for IBM, a Korean War Marine Veteran, a former member of the Coast Guard Reserves, a former part-time Police Officer in Blooming Grove and Washingtonville. He was also a member of Marine Corps League in Chester, a member of Cornwall Baptist Church & Sunday school teacher. Bryant was a professional Hockey player for the NY Rovers, which was a farm team for the NY Rangers, as well as a Golden Gloves Boxer and a private pilot who loved flying. He is survived by his loving wife Geraldine P. Zingerman of South Blooming Grove, NY; Sons, Darren and his Wife Mary Zingerman of Albany, NY and Doug and his Wife Debbie Zingerman of Newburgh, NY; Daughter, Donna and her Husband Shawn Rackley of Centerville, VA; his Brothers, Joel and Wife Rena Zingerman of GA and James and Wife Bonita Zingerman of WA state; 9 grandchildren, John, Michael, McKenzie, Tyler, Bryan, Brianna, Darren, Matthew and Jacob as well as many nieces and nephews. Bryant was predeceased by 2 sisters Marie DiMarco and Aleda Siemon. Visitation will be held Friday, December 14, 2012 from 5-8pm at David T. Ferguson Funeral Home, Washingtonville, NY. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 15 at 10am in the Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow at 11:15am in Orange County Veterans Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
