Lewis Frank (LF) Perry, Jr. of Macon, died December 12, 2012 at a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 11:00am with the Rev. Stan Braley officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00am until the service time. Burial will be private. They ask that donations be made to Heartland Hospice, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon, 31210 or the donor’s favorite charity.
Mr. Perry was the son of the late Lewis Frank Perry, Sr. and Coreen Braddy Perry, and was preceded in death by his son, David F. Perry. He was born in Dublin, GA, served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired from Eastman Kodak as a Service Technician. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and an avid antique collector.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted wife, Betty G. Perry of Macon; daughter, Linda P. (Derrick) McDuffie of Gray; brothers and sisters, Sophie Perry, Mickey (Nita) Perry, and JoNell (Allen) Smith; brother-in-law, Joe Smith; a daughter-in-law, Tina Perry; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his special caregiver, Tomeka Pollard. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.
