David Moulton Nash, III, M.D., 60 of Mason City, IA passed away December 20, 2012 in Mason City. David was born December 28, 1951 in Sonora, TX. He was a retired pathologist who practiced in Texarkana for many years, before moving to Iowa in 2010. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Mason City, IA and a former member of Walnut Church of Christ in Texarkana, TX. He graduated from Rice University (Houston) in 1974, and from Southwestern Medical School (Dallas) in 1978.
Survivors include his wife, LeAnn Ray Nash of Forest City, IA; son, David Moulton Nash, IV, of Texarkana, TX; daughter, Katherine Nash-Satterfield, of Oklahoma City, OK (and son-in-law, Kenneth W. Nash-Satterfield, of OKC, OK); Sarah Frances Nash of Brooklyn, NY; and Margaret Alice Nash of Oklahoma City, OK; his brother, Douglas P. Nash of Carrollton, TX (and sister-in-law, Jan Nash) and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Walnut Church of Christ, Texarkana, TX under the direction of East Funeral Home – Moores Lane.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Mayo Clinic Cancer Research.
