76, passed away on December 31, 2012 in San Bernardino, California. He was born and lived in Fontana, CA until joining the United States Navy, where he served for three years. Following his military service he opened a pet supply store and them began a recycling business. He was elected to the South El Monte City Council in 1971 and served the community for over 25 years, serving as mayor on three occasions.
Following his retirement, he continued his interest in politics until his passing.
Stanley was preceded in death by his wife Donna, and is survived by his daughter Valerie Prentice (Gary) and Mitchell (Nini) Quintana.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, 4-7 p.m. at Mt. View Mortuary, 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino, CA 92404. A chapel service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 9, 2013, 10 a.m. at Mt. View Mortuary, followed by interment.
