He was a lifetime resident of Yakima enjoying a long career in sales. He was very proud of his service in the Philippines with the United States Army. Ray was a member of American Legion and the VFW. Ray and his longtime companion Lucille Humphreys enjoyed dancing several times a week. Music and dancing were a big part of his life and ever present at frequent family gatherings. In younger days he also liked nothing better than loading up the camper and heading for the mountains.
The most important thing in his life was FAMILY. He will be missed by all, but rest assured the music is on and Ray is waltzing his way around heaven.
Survivors include his children Sandy (Ron) Jennings, Kennewick, Daniel (Diane), Kennewick, Roy (Cris), Gleed, and Joann (Wayne) Crawford, Selah. Sisters Elenore (Dolly) Kokenge, Yakima and Pauline and Emilio (Bud) Guglielmelli, Walla Walla, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, his companion Lucille Humphreys and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ray was preceded in death by wife Betty Andreas, granddaughter Carly, Brother Nick, Sisters Anna Siekawitch, Agnus Zerr, Bea Frenzel, Helen Snider and friend Freida Clow, Parents Roy and Emma Andreas.
There will be a celebration of life Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at St Paul’s Cathedral at 11:00am
