Richard Titsworth, 71, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at his home. He was born May 27, 1941 in the Yoestown Community to late M.C. and Anna Titsworth. He was a retired truck driver for Dan-Marr Transit in Van Buren, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Titsworth; and three sons, Richard, Dansby and David Titsworth.
He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Young and her husband James of Van Buren; five grandchildren, Cynthia McArthur and her husband John, Jerrod Young, Caleb Young, Brianna, and Randy Titsworth; and four great-grandchildren, Marina Pratt, Johna McArthur, Michael McArthur, and Ebony.
Mr. Titsworth will lie in state Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas. Burial at Yoestown Cemetery will be held privately under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, Arkansas.
